Welcome to Drone Mountain! Drone Mountain is a semi-realistic drone / quad-copter simulation. A quad-copter is a multi-rotor helicopter that is lifted and propelled by four rotors. You can pilot your drone in an Arctic environment with a control scheme that is similar to what real-world drone pilots use.

Installation

Simply unzip the package to a location of your choice. Launch the application by clicking the DroneMountain.exe executable in the root folder.

Drone Power On/Off - Spacebar
Move Up - E
Move Down - Q
Move Left - A
Move Right - D
Move Forward W
Move Back - S
Rotate Left - Left mouse
Rotate Right - Right mouse
Toggle 1st/3rd Person Camera - V

Photo Mode - P

Photos

Once entering Photo Mode (P), there are a number of controls you can use to frame your shot and add visual effects. These are all outlined in the Photo Mode interface.

Photos are saved to C:\temp. If that directory does not exist on your computer, the photos will not be saved.

Miscellaneous

Drone Mountain was a learning project and bug-testing was minimal. This application may or may not run on your system.
